Security is the cornerstone of all of MagellanGO's platforms including multi-factor authentication and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). For our platforms, we use blockchain encryption, hashing, and use of smart contracts. All sensitive data is only shared with the MagellanGO client (Country) through end-to-end encrypted channels. MagellanGO's solutions are built on an Azure Cloud platform utilizing Azure AD Password Policy, Data Encryption, Secured Data Backup, Azure Anti-virus and Anti-malware, and Azure Firewall/VPN Manager. We can easily port our platforms to the Government's private cloud whether Azure, AWS, Oracle, etc.
Based on the type of platform that we are implementing for a government, we work with our customers to implement the proper level of security to protect any data from being lost, misused, or hacked. Below is a high-level description of the various security features that we have implemented in our identity and travel documents:
Our ePassport, Visa, eID and Border Control platforms provide authentication via fingerprints, facial scans and even iris scans (optional).
For secure travel and identification documents, we can implement or connect to the Government's Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
We can provide Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for our secure travel and identity management platforms.
Our ePassport, Visa, and eID designers work closely with customers to select printed & digital security features for designing their physical and digital identification and travel documents.
All MagellanGO platforms utilize some form of multi-factor authentication / verification including the utilization of Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator and/or OTP verification.
In order to ensure secure data sharing capabilities, our platforms utilize blockchain hashing, encryption, and smart contracts. Data is only shared through end-to-end encrypted channels.
As an additional layer of security (optional), we utilize tokenization, so an Individual’s Identity or Personal Data is never centrally stored where it could be targeted by an attacker or misused.
Our solutions are built on the Azure cloud platform utilizing Azure AD Password Policy, Data Encryption, Secured Data Backup, and Azure Anti-virus, Anti-malware, and Firewall/VPN Manager.
The MagellanGO travel app utilizes a blockchain-based backend platform that meets the standards & certifications for: 1) HIPAA (PHI), HL7, NIST and GDPR Certifications; 2) SOC 1 and SOC 2 Audits.
