International travel and border crossings are the subject of continuous new challenges and change. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the United Nations agency that oversees international air travel, formulates global policies and strategies to respond to these realities. Their main objective is to provide security and facilitation for international travel and has updated their recommendations for electronic Passports (e-Passports) to be compatible to the Logical Data Structure (LDS) Version 2.0 format specifications.
MagellanGO, in partnership with MCS Microsystems Group from Malaysia, our specialized security printers, and ePassport equipment suppliers have created a ubiquitous ePassport environment that meets the dynamic security threats to international travelers globally.
Our ePassport technology stays current with the latest capabilities and requirements, so that our travel documents offer the strongest security. Our ePassport Control System (EPCS) represents an end-to-end ePassport Platform with a modular design for ease of implementation and need for a cost-effective solution.
During production, we serialize IC Chips and data pages, inspect electronic inserts and data pages, begin tracking the IC Chip, reconcile serial
numbers and ensure quality checks.
Capture and manage applicant's profile
details, photographs, application forms and supporting documentation, and biometric data (as required by the government).
Personalize an ePassport or Visa document with the holder's information, generate authentication
keys, and produce the required digital certificates. We ensure quality control processes are met.
Entails all background processes such as Applicant Interviews, Application Approval, Registry Updates, Criminal Record Updates, and Administration and Reporting Modules
The Data Center is the centralized infrastructure for different ePassport & Visa modules for Key Management System (KMS), the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and the Biometric Servers.
Our ePassport and Visa Systems have multiple layers of built-in security including identity verification through biometrics, PKI, AFIS, Blockchain, Tokenization, and much more.
Our MOS complies with the following standards and specifications:
- ICAO Doc 9303, Machine Readable Travel Document, 7th Ed., 2015
- ICAO Technical Report Logical Data Structure (LDS) for Storage of Data in the Contactless IC
- BSI TR-03105 Conformity Tests for Official Electronic ID Documents
- ISO/IEC 15408 Common Criteria EAL 4+ – MRTD with EAC and PACE protection profile
